Tree Trimming Schedule
Right-of-way (ROW) re-clearing along Great Lakes Energy power lines is scheduled this year in the counties and townships listed below.
Workers will attempt to get as many lines cleared as time permits. Other areas where tree growth presents a problem may be added to this list.
We will notify members if tree clearing is happening in their area by means of a postcard and phone message notification, approximately two weeks before the work begins.

Right-of-way clearing is scheduled in these 19 counties and 68 townships:
Allegan: Dorr, Leighton and Salem;
Antrim: Central Lake, Echo, Jordan, Mancelona, Star and Warner;
Barry: Barry, Hope, Orangeville and Rutland;
Charlevoix: Bay, Boyne Valley, Eveline, Hayes, Hudson and South Arm;
Crawford: Frederic and Maple Forest;
Emmet: Little Traverse and Pleasantview;
Grand Traverse: Fife Lake;
Kalkaska: Boardman, Garfield and Springfield;
Kent: Nelson and Solon;
Lake: Chase, Cherry Valley, Eden, Elk, Peacock, Pinora, Sauble, Newkirk (south) and Yates;
Manistee: Norman (east);
Mason: Amber, Custer and Riverton;
Mecosta: Grant and Green;
Montcalm: Reynolds;
Muskegon: Montague and White River;
Newaygo: Barton, Ensley, Grant, Home, Lilley and Monroe;
Oceana: Benona, Claybanks, Ferry, Golden, Grant, Hart, Newfield and Shelby;
Osceola: Cedar, Hersey and Richmond;
Otsego: Corwith, Elmira, Hayes and Livingston;
